Gentle cleansing
The Ahara Karma detox week has been put together by us according to Ayurvedic guidelines. It is easy to carry out and is ideal for beginners and working people or if you want to do something good for yourself in addition to your everyday life. The ahara is the gentlest of our cures and can be carried out at any time of year
You are welcome to extend the treatment to two to three weeks without hesitation. The focus is on a conscious diet and lifestyle as well as on regulating the three dosas.
Suitable for
This package is particularly suitable for newcomers to fasting and for people who prefer a milder form of detox programme. It supports a harmonious balance of body and mind and helps to promote well-being and lightness in everyday life. Treat yourself to a gentle time-out with Ahara Karma and experience regenerative power through Ayurvedic principles.
This package is also suitable for patients undergoing chemotherapy. It relieves the body and reduces nausea. The Ahara Karma cure does not have to be finished after 1 week. If you feel comfortable with it, you can extend the treatment for up to 3 weeks.

Ayurvedic basis
In Ayurvedic medicine, the physical constitution of a person is described using the three basic constitutions, the dosas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Accordingly, Ayurvedic medicine assumes that Vata, Pitta or Kapha disorders are present in the preliminary stages of an illness or an existing illness. In this case, the respective dosas are elevated, individual body channels (srotas) are blocked, the digestive fire (agni) is reduced and the body is restricted in its function accordingly.
The dosas Vata, Pitta and Kapha each have their own specific functions in the body. The 5 elements of which they are composed form the properties (guna) and the specific flavour (rasa). In Ayurvedic medicine, maintaining and promoting health through a balanced diet (ahara) and lifestyle (vihara) is considered elementary. Various properties similar to the respective dosa increase the dosa activity. In combination with a weak digestive fire and a dosa-aggravating diet and lifestyle, the body tissues (dhatus) are weakened and initial discomfort occurs.
Our cleansing cures reduce the increased dosas, strengthen the agni and regulate intestinal activity. The organism can thus find its way back to its natural balance. Herbs, spices or ghee are used to cleanse the body channels and remove metabolic waste products (ama).
